Left Over Chicken?

If you have left over chicken from previous day’s meals, here are the two things I do and viola! A new recipe all together…
Helps in making that “sustainable kitchen” happen.. hehe ![]()
At the same time an aid to budgeting!
CHICKEN SPEAD
- left over chicken
- red onion and garlic (optional)
- Magic Sarap (alternative: salt)
- ground pepper
- mayonnaise
- Flake the left over chicken.
- Chop red onions and garlic
- Mix chicken, onions and garlic with mayonaise
- Season with Magic Sarap and pepper to taste
- Serve with bread (toasted or not) or top it over a salad
ADOBO CHICKEN FLAKES
- left over chicken
- garlic
- Vinegar, Soy Sauce
- Brown Sugar (optional)
- Magic Sarap (alternative: salt)
- ground pepper
- Flake the left over chicken. Chop garlic
- Saute in a pan the chicken and garlic
- Add vinegar and soy sauce (Gauge how much vinegar or soy sauce you want. It depends on how salty and sour you want it)
- Add 1-2 teaspoons brown sugar (Depends on how much sweetness you want to put in)
- Season with Magic Sarap and pepper to taste
- Serve with hot rice or on top of bread
