If you’re looking for an easy access vacation spot, Laguna is the place to go to. The place has a lot to offer from its hot springs, resorts, history, mountain trekking up to amusement parks!

I think almost everyone would know about Enchanted Kingdom (EK) in Sta. Rosa, Laguna and at some point in our lives, especially those within the same age range as I am, have been to or at least has planned to go there. It’s one of the known and nice amusement parks we have here in the Philippines. So for those who likes the thrill of riding a roller coaster, EK is a good stop for you!

For the nature-lovers, there’s the Mt. Makiling where you can go trekking or camping. The mount has its enchanting beauty to offer people of all ages. I haven’t done it though but I would love to give it a try… :)

If you’re up for a stroll along the roads of knowledge, Laguna has been very much visible in the History books since grade school years. As you all know, our national hero Jose P. Rizal was born and spent his childhood years here. So if you’re up for an educational trip, best place to start with is the town of Calamba.

If you’re after mere relaxation or taking a dip, then plunge to Laguna’s hot springs… You can easily spot a resort almost anywhere in Laguna. I guess the most famous ones would have to be in Calamba as well. This is what my friends (from college till my professional days) usually goes for in Laguna. You can say that we have become “suki” of the resorts in Miramonte Village. We always go for private pools for the privacy (obvious ba?!?! “private” pool nga eh!) and having the place exclusive to ourselves.

Laguna is one of those places that has been a big part of my life. I’ve been there a lot of times with Family and Friends and all of those were filled with fun and unforgettable memories.
